About the Tree Climb Alliance

Our Mission

We are professionals inspiring tree enthusiasts through collaboration, education, and stewardship-instilling safety and nurturing the growth of future arborists of all ages.

Our Purpose

Educate and inspire people of all ages in tree care, climbing, and environmental stewardship

Raise safety standards in arboriculture through training, outreach, and real-world practice

Connect professionals, students, and communities so knowledge and support flow both ways

Conserve and protect trees while fostering respect for ecosystems

Create opportunities for youth, new workers, and curious learners to find their path in arboriculture

Build community events and programs (like Roots & Boots, Canopy Jam) where people experience the joy and responsibility of caring for trees together

Tree Climb Alliance Inc. was founded on the belief that arboriculture is more than a trade — it’s a profession rooted in human connection, mentorship, and respect for nature. Our mission is to elevate the standard of tree care through education, safety, and workforce development that empower both individuals and organizations to thrive. By bridging hands-on training with structured career pathways, we’re cultivating a new approach where arborists, educators, and community members work together to grow a safer, more sustainable green industry.

Through our outreach and training programs, Tree Climb Alliance is building a pipeline of opportunity for individuals entering or advancing within the green sector. Our workforce development initiatives focus on practical field training, leadership cultivation, and industry-recognized certification preparation. We’re aligning our efforts with schools, municipalities, and private employers to ensure that new and existing workers have access to resources, mentorship, and the confidence to build long-term careers that provide both personal fulfillment and professional stability.

We will do all of this by bringing the training directly onsite — to municipalities, schools, and other organizations that share our vision. Tree Climb Alliance will also host larger, hands-on training events in local parks and urban forest areas, connecting participants to the environment they serve. Each training integrates the elements of fresh air, physicality, and movement, reminding participants that learning in nature strengthens not only technical skills but also the mind-body connection vital to safe and meaningful work.

At the core of our training philosophy is safety — not just as a compliance measure, but as a value that sustains life and legacy. Every program we design emphasizes situational awareness, proper technique, and the culture of care that defines a strong team. By investing in people first, we’re helping create an industry where safety, skill, and sustainability coexist — where careers prosper, teams strengthen, and the next generation of arborists finds purpose in preserving the living systems that sustain us all.

Please consider supporting our cause.
