Jennifer Hause Wood is a lifelong arborist, trainer, and advocate for the people who work in the canopy. For over three decades, she and her husband, John, have led Walker Tree Care in Central New York — a company rooted in safety, mentorship, and respect for both people and trees.
As founder of the nonprofit Tree Climb Alliance, Jennifer champions education, professional growth, and environmental stewardship. Her mission is to transform passion into purpose — helping individuals grow from the ground up into safe, skilled, and certified arborists through teamwork, creativity, and care.
She believes that safety is sacred and growth is shared, and that true strength in this profession comes from the roots we build together.

We want to pass on the knowledge gained from our legacy to our community through mentorship, stewardship and wonderment of trees, tree climbing, and the human spirit to inspire the next generation of arborists.
